We credit Steve Jobs for the I phone Elon for the Tesla cars, but not those who actually worked behind the scenes and developed these products.
This is the equivalent of the kid who signs their name on the school project that didn’t actually contribute. Or the parent who takes credit for their kids good grades, but can’t really explain what classes they take, or who their professors, or teachers are.
Acknowledge your own hard work if no one else will.
